Briar J. Bearss is the Founder and CEO of Bearss Residential, the fastest growing owner-operator of subsidized housing in the Midwest. Bearss Residential is responsible for providing the safe, sanitary, and stable living arrangements of over 100 families relying on federal rental assistance. His former ventures include My Tennessee Home Solution, Tennessee’s premier off-market homebuyer [acquired in 2024]. Bearss also leads The Bearss Foundation, a private family foundation formed under Section 501(c)(3) providing scholarship opportunities and project grants in his home state of Michigan.
Prior to his full-time commitment to entrepreneurship, Bearss served as a Reconnaissance Platoon Leader in the U.S Army. He will retire as a Captain having deployed once to Eastern Europe in support of Operation Assure, Deter, and Reinforce while operating within Special Army Group-Ukraine (SAG-U). Bearss graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point as a dean’s list student with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management & Systems Engineering.
